Flixel Cinemagraph Pro Wins Apple Design Award at WWDC 2014

Great News! Cinemagraph Pro for Mac has received the prestigious Apple Design Award at the World Wide Developers Conference in San Francisco.

Cinemagraph Pro is the only professional tool specifically designed for the creation of living photos, a hybrid media form that combines the timeless quality of a photograph and elements of moving video. With its patented “live-masking” technology, artists can preview their creations in real time and output HD (1080) and UHD (4K) quality living photographs.

“This is a great honor for our team,” says Flixel’s co-founder and CEO, Philippe LeBlanc. “We are absolutely thrilled to see Cinemagraph Pro receive such a prominent recognition from Apple.”

In celebration of this achievement at WWDC 2014, Cinemagraph Pro is now on sale for $24.99 on the Mac App store, reduced by 87.5 % for a limited time from the regular price of $199.99. Additionally, the newly redesigned Cinemagraph+ for iOS will be available for $14.99 on the App Store, reduced by 50%. These exclusive offers will expire on June 6th 2014.

Cinemagraph Pro, Flixel’s professional desktop application for creating living photos was launched back in late February 2014. Within weeks, the living photo software achieved the coveted featured status on the Mac App Store where it reached the top rank in the paid photography category in nearly 80 countries. It also reported sales of over $250,000 in its first quarter of launching the desktop software.

“Winning the ADA is another major milestone for our company,” says LeBlanc. “The continued success of Cinemagraph Pro further supports our vision of a future where living photography will be present everywhere.”
