Flixel Demos Cinemagraph Pro for Mac at CES 2014 with Panasonic

This past week, we had the privilege of collaborating with our friends at Panasonic USA in support of our common vision of bringing Hybrid Photography into the limelight. We worked alongside  award winning and distinguished Panasonic luminaries Suzette Allen and Giulio Sciorio and showed off the simplicity and intuitiveness of creating living photographs in real time.

The setup was simple: a digital single lens Lumix GH3 mirrorless camera for capture, a continuous lighting setup using SkyLuxe LEDs by Westscott and for real time editing, Flixel’s upcoming release, Cinemagraph Pro for Mac. It’s safe to say the international crowd at CES 2014 was mesmerized.

Suzette Allen on the process: ” If you can create something that grabs people, that gets them to pause and engage with your content, you know you have something powerful on your hands. Flixel’s living photos achieve this objective by offering a change in direction for marketers and advertisers by proposing a subtle yet powerful stimulus that commands your attention. “

Flixel Cinemagraph Pro for Mac is set to launch in early February 2014. Sign up at http://flixel.com/desktop/ to be notified of the release.

  1. oh no!
Is this ONLY for Mac fanboys?
any chance you'll be rolling out an Android version, or better yet, a PC version?
Any chance your fab product could yet be used by those of us who stay away from Apple products?

    • Hi Nick - I'm terribly sorry for the late response. We definitely want to have Flixel on Android/Windows but, right now, we don't have a timetable of when that will happen.

  2. Please bring it out for windows too,I would love to use this for my clients but I use windows.

  3. when will this be available for macs? Also, is there a way to take a video and then edit on the computer? (would that be what the mac version does?)

    • It will be out very soon. Sign up here and get notified when it's available. https://flixel.com/desktop/
