We’ve noticed a growing trend of Flixel creations being posted on Instagram, including a number of people who have been recording directly from a screen! While Instragram doesn’t currently support exports from other apps, the process of importing a Flixel creation into Instagram is actually quite simple. Here are the steps:
1. After creating a Flixel and advancing to the Upload screen, Flixel Pro users will see some additional saving options below the caption field. Once your creation finishes rendering, tap the “Save to Camera Roll” button to save a copy of your creation to your device’s Camera Roll.
2. From Instagram, tap the create button, then the camera roll icon on the bottom left to import.
3. Choose your Flixel & press Next.
Instagram supports up to 15 seconds of video. Depending on how much you trimmed from your Flixel and whether or not you used a forward or reverse loop, the length of your creation could be anywhere from 1-10 seconds.
4. Press “Add” & then the Camera Roll icon (which in this case is now located at the bottom right) to add another copy of your Flixel. Once you’ve chosen it again, press Next to add it.
5. Repeat step 4 until you’ve filled Instagram’s 15 second time limit.
You can now share your creations on Instagram! Keep in mind that Instagram automatically crops your creations to a square format, so if you’re importing a widescreen Flixel only the center square will be used. Tag your upload with #Flixel and you’re good to go!
This makes no since to me at all!

Hi Howard,
The instruction's for the iOS app. Are you using the desktop app, Cinemagraph Pro for Mac? You can transfer the video from your Mac to your iPhone or if you have Dropbox, upload the video from your Mac and then download on your iPhone.
