Panasonic and Flixel Integration
Flixel was once again invited to be a part of the Panasonic booth, this time at WPPI showing off Cinemagraph Pro and educating photographers and videographers on the art of cinemagraphs. A perfect pairing, the Panasonic Lumix GH4 works great with Flixel Cinemagraph Pro. Why? The GH4 shoots stunning 4K footage, all from a compact DSLM. When creating a cinemagraph, you’re pulling a still from the short video clip and positioning it as the master frame. When you shoot with the Lumix GH4, the still frame is extremely crisp and detailed, just like a photo.
Anyone that is skeptical should take a look at the work produced by some of Panasonic’s Lumix Luminaries: Michael Grecco, Joseph Linaschke, Giulio Sciorio, and William Innes. With the Lumix GH4, they’ve produced both stunning images AND cinemagraphs.

Cinemagraphs are a new and exciting medium for photographers and videographers. Differentiate yourself and stay ahead of the curve by creating mesmerizing cinemagraphs for your clients. Flowing veils, shining hair, blinking eyes, falling confetti; attendees of the show had plenty of concepts for creating fabulous wedding and portrait living photos. With Flixel, getting that “wow-factor” is made easy.
With Flixel cinemagraphs playing on big 4K Panasonic screens on display out in the hall, people were immediately mesmerized and excited about embracing the medium. Some even stopped dead in their tracks and filmed the monitors. Thanks to this and some word of mouth, we had a great turnout at the booth. Many new pro photographers are now using Flixel Cinemagraph Pro to grow their business. We’re thrilled that our talented Flixel community is growing. We can’t wait to see what our new users will create!
