January Updates for Cinemagraph Pro for Mac, iPhone and iPad

Back in December we rolled out major updates to all Flixel Cinemagraph Apps. The release included Cinemagraph Pro 1.5 for Mac, and Cinemagraph Pro 3.0 for iPhone and iPad.

Since then we’ve been working on several important improvements including changes to the user experience to make our apps even easier to use while at the same time giving control and precision to advanced users. Check out our newest updates below.

Cinemagraph Pro 1.5.1 for Mac

New Welcome window
Cinemagraphs are a relatively new medium and many of you have never created a living photo before. With our newly redesigned Welcome window, we aim to provide helpful tips and tutorials so that everyone can become a master at creating cinemagraphs. You’ll find links to our Learning Lab with basic and advanced tutorials, a demo cinemagraph document for your to play around with along with info on how to connect with us on your favorite social network.

Brush/Eraser enhancements
Based on feedback from many of you, the minimum size of the brush/eraser has been halved, and the maximum zoom has been doubled. The brush and eraser tool are now better suited for finer masking. This should make more difficult and intricate masks easier to accomplish.

Cinemagraph Pro iOS 3.1 for iPhone and iPad

Adobe Creative Cloud Image SDK
Not only can you import and export the still, you can now edit the still image using Adobe Creative Cloud Image SDK- tons of photo adjustments at your fingertips. Make your cinemagraphs stand out with effects like: overlays, stickers, lighting, blur, sharpness, drawings and text (to name a few).

Enhanced Documents view
Now with better iCloud support, the option of renaming documents, as well as the ability to import and export via AirDrop and third-party extensions.
Change iCloud storage preference
Lastly, to make life a bit easier, you can now change your iCloud storage preferences in Settings.app
